Worship
Since 1959, Temple Ramat Zion has been a beacon of Conservative Judaism in the valley. Our mission is to inspire the Jewish community to search for meaning in our lives and bring a measure of sanctity in the midst of so much secularity. We strive to be a kehilat kedusha, a holy community, that serves both the spiritual needs of its members and the charitable needs of the community outside its temple walls. At TRZ, you’ll find a haven that combines Jewish spirituality with real world relevance.
Temple Ramat Zion offers a full range of services, activities and educational programs that fulfill the religious, spiritual, and social needs of our warm, family-oriented congregation. We make every effort to offer and support programs that can enrich every aspect of Jewish life across the generational spectrum, from Preschool to Adult Education, while striving to help others through our Social Action (Tikkun Olam) programs.
Over the past few years we’ve experienced growth in both our membership and religious school enrollment, and have expanded our programming to support the needs of our growing community. In 2012 we completed a merger with Temple Ner Maarav, where we successfully integrated their membership, their board members and even some of their building’s features into our synagogue to make the two communities a stronger singular community.
Please join us and make TRZ your home away from home. The laughter of children, the joy of old friends connecting and reconnecting, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, brises, and baby namings fill our halls. TRZ is vibrant with Jewish life. Join us and be a part of our family.
